From my undergraduate courses to self-driving vehicles, it seems as though every organization is integrating artificial intelligence into their products, albeit through very different approaches and values.


This transformation genuinely fascinates me because this technology has the potential to help people bring ideas to fruition in record time. Yet at the same time, I am deeply concerned that applications of this technology will be driven by economic incentives to exploit human limitations for profit.


Confronting this contrast, I felt compelled to ask, What might a context-aware framework for integrating artificial intelligence into products look like - one that helps practitioners translate ethical, unbiased principles into practical designs while allowing practitioners to adapt these principles to the needs, values, and risks of specific communities?
