Hey! I'm Jesse / 黄泽昀

I'm a fourth year Data Science undergraduate at UC San Diego. My interests lie in Machine Learning/AI, Data Visualization, Statistics, and/or some combination thereof. Previously, I was an Instructional Assistant at the Halicioğlu Data Science Institute, and Safety and Compliance Analyst Intern at San Francisco International Airport.

I was born and raised in San Francisco, California. Outside of work I like to indulge in tennis 🎾, running 🏃, and traveling ✈️(the photo above was taken in Nantou, Taiwan!).

I'll be pursuing a Master's in Computer Science and Engineering at the {University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, University of California, San Diego, Columbia University}. I aspire to apply my critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to decompose complex, ambiguous AI challenges into actionable components to realize optimal solutions across research and industry.

As we all continue to shift our feet to this evolving world driven by AI advancements, I believe it is crucial to seize this moment to innovate in a direction that inches us towards a society where everyone can reap the fruits of this technology.
